Ways to Volunteer Your Time
Chair an Event
Typically multiple hours of work, spread out over a period of a few weeks. Chairs work with their committee to organize the event, from invitations to food. Many events have information from previous years to build off of, so you can hit the ground running. Chairs responsible for status updates to the rest of the PTA, as necessary.
Less intensive than chairing an event; Planning committee members are usually responsible for one or two categories of event preparation, such as "drinks". Ideally, each event would have a committee of 3-4 volunteers.
The success of every event requires volunteers who are willing to give 1-2 hours of their time. Usually, an event volunteer is assigned a specific task to make the event run smoothly such as "bounce house supervisor" and no prep work is required
Are you crafty? Do you have community connections? Can you take amazing photos? Maybe you're amazing at building things out of PVC pipes. Whatever it is- if you are willing to contribute let us know!
