There are a variety of opportunities to be involved and you decide how involved you want to be! You do not need to become a member to help out- every bit of support is appreciated; You can volunteer your time at an event or donate ... and everything in between!
By signing up as a PTA member, you receive a school-wide directory. PTA meetings are a great opportunity for members to share ideas and express opinions. PTA meetings also keep members "in the know" about upcoming events and activities!

Creating a closer relationship between home and school
The purpose of our PTA is to support and speak on behalf of our children. We enhance the overall learning environment by engaging parents, teachers, students and the community in order to increase educational opportunities, support GW family events, provide volunteer opportunities and recognize our hard-working faculty and staff. We also play an important role in fundraising to provide school improvements,
which are vital to the success of our school.
