ABOUT THE PTA
What does the PTA do?
The purpose of our PTA is to support and speak on behalf of our children – to create a closer relationship between home and school. We enhance the overall learning environment by engaging parents, teachers, students and the community in order to increase educational opportunities, support GW family events, provide volunteer opportunities and recognize our hard-working faculty and staff. We also play an important role in fundraising to provide school improvements, which are vital to the success of our school.
What can you do?
You can support Grant Wood PTA by becoming a member for just $10. All PTA members will receive a student directory in the fall – which provides the only opportunity for access to other students’ addresses andphone numbers. You can also volunteer. There are a variety of opportunities to be involved and you decide how involved you want to be.
